The Four Pillars of Salvation

The Four Pillars of Salvation
Among the four pillars of salvation are atonement, regeneration, sanctification, and glorification. While these may sound like abstract notions, they have an actual impact on the life of a believer. Each is the apex of an important step that a believer should take toward a life of godliness.
The atonement is the grand sacrifice that Christ made on the cross to atone for our sins. The resurrection is another major event in the salvation story. The resurrection of Christ is not an act of nature, but a miracle wrought by God.
The regeneration is the process in which God transforms the heart of a sinner. It is the most important part of salvation. The regenerated person is set apart for God's purposes and made to feel like a child of God. The sanctification is the process of becoming more and more like God. This process should be carried out throughout the life of a regenerate person.
The Oriented Life is a term used to describe a state of being that is characterized by the presence of the Holy Spirit, freedom from fear, and the enjoyment of God's love. This is the same experience that the regenerated person experiences when he or she makes Christ the center of their life. It is the ultimate expression of the divine and the best thing you can do for your soul.
The Oriented Life is the process in which a person becomes more and more aware of the good things God has done for him or her and experiences incredible freedom from insecurity and fear. It is a lifelong journey of faith that will culminate in glorification, the final blessed state of the redeemed.
The Oriented Life is produced by the presence of the Holy Spirit, who indwells believers to help them live the righteous life that Christ demands. The Holy Spirit helps believers to grow in their knowledge of God. It is an active and powerful presence that helps believers to make God the center of their lives and teaches them to live in obedience to the Savior.
The Oriented Life is only one of the many miracles of God. The Holy Spirit baptizes the believers into one body, which Christ is the head. This body is under the leadership and oversight of elders and supportive leadership. This body is devoted to the preaching of the gospel, the growth of Christian virtues, and the nurturing of new believers. The body is not only a place to meet, but also a place to work, fellowship, worship, and glorify God.
The atonement is the grandest of all miracles. It is the result of a plan that began in the Garden of Eden, and has been in operation ever since. It is a part of the eternal plan of the Father. It is the logical end to the fall of man and the atonement is the first step in the process. The atonement is a work of grace that is available to everyone, free of charge.
